Wanting to do a photography tour in Vietnam?

My name is John Burton and I live in the UK. For quite a few years I have been interested in photography and most years I can be found in some far flung part of the world taking photographs. I have won a number of major photographic competitions and have spent many years travelling. Indeed at one time I ran trekking tours in Nepal.

More recently, in January 2024, I visited Vietnam with a view to getting off the tourist trail to take photos.

In doing this trip from Hanoi to Saigon I found a fantastic tour guide who is very understanding of what the photographer is looking for. He understands the importance of light and interaction with local people. He is looking to build up his business and as such I am more than happy to put people who are seriously interested in touch with him. He can do everything, subject to availability, from short half day tours to tours of several weeks across the country. His ability to interact with people and get good locations is excellent, as is his English. He has plenty of 5 star guide reviews to check and can handle groups of different sizes.
